All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

The Age at Onset of LRRK2 p.Gly2019Ser Parkinson's Disease Across Ancestries and Countries of Origin
Objectives The objective of this study was to elucidate differences in the cumulative incidence of Leucine‐rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) p.Gly2019Ser‐related Parkinson's disease (PD; LRRK2‐PD) between ancestries and countries. Methods We included 922 unrelated p.Gly2019Ser variant carriers (affected = 762 and unaffected = 160) from the Global Parkinson ...

Beyond PEGylation: Archaeal Lipids for Long‐Circulating Liposomes
Archaeal lipid‐based liposomes, particularly those containing caldarchaeol (GDGT), were found to significantly prolong the circulation time of vancomycin in rats, matching the pharmacokinetic properties of PEGylated systems. These findings suggest archaeal lipids as promising non‐PEG excipients for parenteral applications to minimize drug clearance ...
