On foliations with rational first integral [PDF]
We use the Kodaira’s classification of relatively minimal elliptic fi- brations to prove that a holomorphic foliation in CP2 with a dicritical compact elliptic curve has rational first integral.

Reduction of Feynman integrals in the parametric representation II: reduction of tensor integrals
In a recent paper by the author (Chen in JHEP 02:115, 2020), the reduction of Feynman integrals in the parametric representation was considered. Tensor integrals were directly parametrized by using a generator method.

Task-First or Context-First? Tool Integration Revisited [PDF]
If software engineering tools are not "properly integrated", they can reduce engineers' productivity. Associating and retrieving information scattered across the tools become unsystematic and inefficient. Our work provides empirical evidence on what is a "poor" and a "proper" tool integration, focusing on practitioners' perspectives.

Construction of Lyapunov functions from first integrals for stochastic stability analysis
This paper explores the application of first integrals in constructing Lyapunov functions for stability analysis of dynamical systems in stochastic domains. A key advantage of using first integrals is their ability to embed system-specific structural and

ABSTRACT Background Combined oral contraceptive (COC) use in obese adult women dramatically increases the relative risk of developing a pulmonary embolism (PE). The risk of a PE in obese adolescent females taking contraceptives is currently unknown. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effect of body mass index (BMI) and contraceptive

Liouvillian first integrals of differential equations [PDF]
Liouvillian functions are functions that are built up from rational functions using exponentiation, integration, and algebraic functions. We show that if a system of differential equations has a generic solution that satisfies a liouvillian relation, that is, there is a liouvillian function of several variables vanishing on the ...
