Tax Efficiency in Terms of Fiscal Consolidation in EU Countries

open access: yesActa Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Oeconomica, 2018
A review of the literature can be seen that the type of fiscal consolidation is important for consumer/investor confidence and therefore of relevance to the economy and the condition of public finances.

Asymmetric Fiscal Stabilization Policy and the Public Deficit: Theory and Evidence [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper studies the implications of asymmetric fiscal stabilization policy for the budget deficit. In our model, the government is more concerned about downturns than upturns in economic activity and therefore conducts fiscal stabilization policy in a

IGF‐1 Deficiency Serves as an Integrated Biomarker Pathogenic Driver and Predictor in Poor Ovarian Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF‐1 deficiency underlies poor ovarian response (POR), as reduced levels in follicular fluid and granulosa cells impair antral follicle formation and compromise reproductive outcomes. Including IGF‐1 as a biomarker significantly enhances the accuracy of models predicting both PORrisk and pregnancy success.

Fiscal policies, the current account and Ricardian equivalence [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper analyses the empirical relationship between fiscal policy and the current account of the balance of payments and considers how Ricardian equivalence changes this relationship.

S3RL: Enhancing Spatial Single‐Cell Transcriptomics With Separable Representation Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Separable Spatial Representation Learning (S3RL) is introduced to enhance the reconstruction of spatial transcriptomic landscapes by disentangling spatial structure and gene expression semantics. By integrating multimodal inputs with graph‐based representation learning and hyperspherical prototype modeling, S3RL enables high‐fidelity spatial domain ...

MACROTHEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF FISCAL CONSOLIDATION

open access: yesВісник Київського національного університету імені Тараса Шевченка. Серія Економіка, 2016
The article analyses the unexplored category of "fiscal consolidation". The study shows a different interpretation of the content of fiscal consolidation.

Fiscal rules and monetary policy in a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper an anti-cyclical fiscal policy rule is introduced into a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model with New-Keynesian features. The rule allows the deficit to deviate from target in proportion to the impact of automatic stabilisers while

Cohort‐Scale Spatial Autocorrelation for Tumor Prediction in Mid‐Infrared Pathology and Spatial Biomarker Discovery Using MALDI Imaging Lipidomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Computational annotation of various tissue types in heterogeneous samples such as colorectal cancer liver metastasis (CRLM) using spatial autocorrelation analysis on non‐destructive mid‐infrared (MIR) imaging data enabled correlative multimodal mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) for spatial investigation of lipid tumor marker candidates. The method can be

Fiscal Policy in the Transition to Monetary Union: a Structural VAR Model [PDF]

open access: yes
In order to assess the effect of fiscal rules in Stage Three of EMU for France and Germany, Bayoumi and Eichengreen's (1992) structural VAR analysis is extended by including the general government financial surplus and conditioning by external variables.

Iron Oxide Nanozyme as Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species Scavenger to Regulate Microglial Homeostasis in Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
6 nm iron oxide nanoparticles (IONP6) exhibit enzyme‐like activities that scavenge reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS), including nitric oxide (NO). In stroke models, IONP6 promotes microglial polarization toward the M2 phenotype, reduces neuroinflammation, and improves neurological outcomes, offering a promising drug‐free approach to mitigate ...
