Analysis and forecasting of the red mullet Mullus surmuletus (Linnaeus, 1758) fishery off Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) using an ARIMA model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The utility of AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models for analysing and forecasting catches of red mullet Mullus surmuletus (Linnaeus, 1758) off Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) was tested.

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Analysis and forecasting of the demersal fishery of the Canary Islands using an Arima Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The utility of the ARIMA models was tested for analysing and forecasting the catches of the demersal fish species exploited in the Canary Islands. A 13-years record (June 1980-April 1993) of the total catches by month of D. gibbosus, P.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Construction and Comparison of Machine-Learning Forecast Models of Albacore Thunnus alalunga Fishing Grounds in the South Pacific Ocean

open access: yesFishes
The traditional methods for predicting the distribution of albacore (Thunnus alalunga) fishing grounds have low performance and accuracy. Uneven sampling can result in unreasonable evaluation indicators.

Trends in marine fish catches at Pattani Fishery Port (1999-2003) [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2006
This study aims to develop statistical models for forecasting the quantity of the various types of marine fish landed at Pattani Fishery Port, allowing for trend and seasonality, using official data during 1999-2003.

A forecast for the ensuing oil-sardine fishery [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
The ability to foreca st the course of events likely to be encountered during the approaching fishery season enhances the value of fishery research in the eyes of those in the industry , As Simpson (1956) has put it, "Apart from the value to the ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Recruitment Forecasting and Scientific Knowledge Production in the Gulf of Maine and Southern New England American Lobster Fishery [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The creation of predictive models based on demographic and environmental information is one of the most important responsibilities of fisheries science. However, in general, such models have had mixed success in the past, and despite increased complexity
