Current-driven skyrmion motion along disordered magnetic tracks
The motion of skyrmions along ferromagnetic strips driven by current pulses is theoretically analyzed by means of micromagnetic simulations. Analytical expressions describing the skyrmion dynamics during and after the current pulse are obtained from an ...

A Borane Sandwich Analogue of Ferrocene
The first ferrocene analogue with two boron‐based ligands is identified through a global exploration of the FeB10H20 potential energy surface. The η5,η5‐Fe(B5H10)2 complex emerges as the global minimum, showing that metal coordination inverts borane stability and enables aromatic boron rings inaccessible in isolation.

Influence of particle size in silo discharge
Recently Janda et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 108, 248001 (2012)] reported an experimental study where it was measured the velocity and volume fraction fields of 1 mm diameter stainless steel beads in the exit of a two-dimensional silo.

Climatologia Aplicada Ao Estudo Da Dengue Na Cidade De São Luís, Maranhão, Brasil
Dengue is a viral disease, transmitted by Aedes aegypti, which presents its spatial distribution related to climatic influences, with wide tropical distribution. The study analyzed the relationship between climate and dengue incidence rates, between 2015

Micromagnetic analysis of geometrically controlled current-driven magnetization switching
The magnetization dynamics induced by current pulses in a pair of two “S-shaped” ferromagnetic elements, each one consisting on two oppositely tilted tapered spikes at the ends of a straight section, is theoretically studied by means of micromagnetic ...

On-Surface Synthesis of B3N3-Substituted Two-Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks with Distinct Pore Sizes and Kagome Band Structures. [PDF]
Single‐layer, 2D BN‐substituted covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with two distinct periodicities are synthesized on noble metal supports. A multi‐method characterization reveals a non‐planar, chiral structure. Band gaps and frontier band dispersion are controlled by linker chemistry and spacer extension.

A note on BPS vortex bound states
In this note we investigate bound states, where scalar and vector bosons are trapped by BPS vortices in the Abelian Higgs model with a critical ratio of the couplings.
