Maximal subgroups of finite groups
In finite groups maximal subgroups play a very important role. Results in the literature show that if the maximal subgroup has a very small index in the whole group then it influences the structure of the group itself.

Quasinormal Fitting classes of finite groups
Let P be the set of all primes, Zn a cyclic group of order n and X wr Zn the regular wreath product of the group X with Zn. A Fitting class F is said to be X-quasinormal (or quasinormal in a class of groups X ) if F ⊆ X, p is a prime, groups G ∈ F and G ...

On Fitting groups whose proper subgroups are solvable [PDF]
This work is a continuation of [A. O. Asar, On infinitely generated groups whose proper subgroups are solvable, {em J. Algebra}, {bf 399} (2014) 870-886.], where it was shown that a perfect infinitely generated group whose proper ...

DEGREE: A Delaunay Triangle-Based Approach to Arbitrary Group Target Shape Recognition [PDF]
Compared with the single or even multiple targets, the group targets exhibit complex and time-varying structure, making the group shape estimation and evaluation quite challenging.

Hierarchical Bayesian inference for concurrent model fitting and comparison for group studies.
Computational modeling plays an important role in modern neuroscience research. Much previous research has relied on statistical methods, separately, to address two problems that are actually interdependent. First, given a particular computational model,

Calculation of the subgroups of a trivial-fitting group [PDF]
We describe an algorithm to determine representatives of the conjugacy classes of subgroups of a Trivial-Fitting group, this case being the one prior algorithms reduce to. As a subtask we describe an algorithm for determining conjugacy classes of complements to an arbitrary normal subgroup if the factor group is solvable.
