Temporal Interference Stimulation Enhances Neural Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 37, 3 July 2026.
Temporal interference (TI) stimulation is proposed as a non‐invasive approach to enhance neural regeneration in the deep brain. Theta‐band TI modulation selectively promotes neural progenitor cell differentiation in vitro and augments hippocampal neurogenesis in amouse model of Alzheimer's disease‐like amyloidosis.

Prolonged systemic inflammation worsens impairments to astrocyte Ca2+ and functional hyperemia in Alzheimer's disease

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Chronic neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease (AD) alters astrocyte physiology and neurovascular unit function. AD patients frequently experience recurrent systemic inflammatory insults from comorbid conditions, which act as “secondary‐hits” believed to worsen cognitive decline.

Adjustment And Compensation Techniques For The Rotary Axes Of Five-Axis Cnc Machine Tools

open access: yes, 2014
Five-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools (three linear and two rotary axes) are ideally suited to the fabrication of complex work pieces, such as dies, turbo blades, and cams. The locations of the axis average line and centerline of the rotary axes strongly influence the performance of these machines; however, techniques to compensate ...
