Identification of Alignment Errors in Five-Axis Machining Centers.

open access: bronzeTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series C, 1994
This paper deals with the theoretical identification of alignment errors for five-axis machining centers. The form-shaping function which takes geometrical errors into account is theoretically derived for the error analysis of precision machine tools.

Identification of Alignment Errors in Five-Axis Machining Centers Using Telescoping Ball Bar.

open access: bronzeTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series C, 1997
This paper deals with the identification of alignment errors in five-axis machining centers. There are thirteen alignment errors in each five-axis machining center. Three alignment errors in the three translational slideways are identified by circular tests using a Telescoping Ball Bar.

Investigation on Finished Surface Machined by Five-axis Machining Center

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering, 2009
This study describes the machining of the fine surfaces with a ball nose end-mill tool by a five-axis controlled machining center. In the present paper, we demonstrate that it is effective to maintain a constant contact angle between an end-mill ball nose and a work surface in machining in order to obtain the fine machined surface because this makes it

Research on Fillet Simulation Machining of Spiral Bevel Gear based on Five-axis Machining Center [PDF]

open access: bronzeJournal of Computer and Electronics Studies, 2019
The traditional spiral bevel gear fillet processing process mainly rely on artificial grinding method, resulting in low efficiency processing, work intensity, parts quality can not guarantee such problems. Aiming at the above problems, a method of fillet machining in five - axis machining center is proposed. The feasibility of the method is verified by
