Involutions of Iwahori-Hecke algebras and representations of fixed subalgebras [PDF]
We establish branching rules between some Iwahori-Hecke algebra of type B and their subalgebras which are defined as fixed subalgebras by involutions including Goldman involution. The Iwahori-Hecke algebra of type D is one of such fixed subalgebras. We also obtain branching rules between those fixed subalgebras and their intersection subalgebra.

Histochemistry on vibratome sections of fish tissue: a comparison of fixation and embedding methods
Despite improvements in imaging techniques during recent years, for many non-model systems the fixation of tissues followed by embedding and sectioning for histochemical or immunohistochemical staining remains an important technique in vertebrate ...

PPF dependent fixed points in A-closed Razumikhin classes [PDF]
The PPF dependent fixed point result in algebraically closed Razumikhin classes due to Agarwal et al [Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2013, 2013:280] is identical with its constant class counterpart; and this, in turn, is reducible to a fixed point principle involving SVV type contractions (over the subsequent metric space of initial Banach structure ...

A note on fixed points of endofunctors [PDF]
In this note, we deal with the fixed points of an endofunctor $F: \mathcal{C} \longrightarrow \mathcal{C}$. Three classes of fixed points are introduced, and the case when $F$ is an endomorphism of a category with pretopology is investigated. We show existence of induced structures on the category of fixed points, and, when a pretopology is defined ...

New coincidence point and fixed point theorems for essential distances and $e^{0}$-metrics [PDF]
In this paper, we establish some new fixed point theorems and coincidence point theorems for essential distances and $e^{0}$-metrics which generalize and improve Berinde-Berinde's fixed point theorem, Mizoguchi-Takahashi's fixed point theorem, Nadler's fixed point theorem and Banach contraction principle and many known results in the literature.

On Characterizations of Fixed and Common Fixed Points
In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of fixed and common fixed points of self-mappings of metric spaces. Our results generalize, improve, and unify some results of Chang, Jungck, Fisher, and Dien.

Comparison of honey with ethanol as an oral cytological fixative: A pilot study
Introduction: The fixation of cytological smears using ethanol is the gold standard. But, there exists a quench to search a new alternative for it due to it being expensive, carcinogenic and not freely available.
