Some Remarks on G-Metric Spaces and Fixed Point Theorems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2014
We notice some remarks on G-metric spaces and the fixed point results of contractive mappings defined on such spaces. Our results generalize, extend and complement recent fixed point theorems established by  Jleli and Samet [M. Jleli and B.

Fixed point theorems via Nash Equilibria [PDF]

open access: yes
In this note we show that the fixed points of a continuous function (or of an upper semi-continuous correspondence, with non-empty and convex values) can be attained as Nash Equilibria of a game with finitely many players.

Designing High Performance Organic Donor Molecules for Photovoltaics

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Systematically tuning the fusion pattern and length of the π$\pi$‐bridge, along with adjusting the electron‐withdrawing (EW) strength of the terminal groups in small‐molecule donor A-π-Core-π$\text{A-}\pi \text{-Core-}\pi$‐A architectures, enables predictable modulation of the system's opto‐electronic properties.

Deep Learning‐Powered Nanoplasmonic Biosensing Approach Enables Ultrasensitive Extracellular Vesicles Profiling for Cancer Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a Kolmogorov–Arnold network (KAN)‐powered nanoplasmonic biosensing platform for ultrasensitive detection of small extracellular vesicles in serum, enabling highly accurate pancreatic cancer screening. The method achieves an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.99 in a large clinical cohort, offering a robust and interpretable deep ...

Design Principles for Deployable Fibers Inspired by Hagfish Defense

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hagfish slime deploys fibers from coiled skeins to form an ultra‐dilute, water‐trapping network. Inspired by this mechanism, design principles are established for synthetic skeins, fabricated with tightly coiled fibers that unravel under flow. These synthetic skeins demonstrate deployable fibrous networks, highlighting generalizable strategies for ...

Disordered Glass Nanowire Substrates Produce in Vivo‐Like Astrocyte Morphology Revealed by Low‐Coherence Holotomography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low‐coherence holotomography reveals that disordered nanowire substrates guide astrocyte morphology toward branched, in vivo–like star‐shaped morphology, emphasizing the role of biophysical cues in shaping neural cell behavior. The developed nanostructured platform offers a new route to study astrocytes for neurobiology studies. Abstract Astrocytes are

Remarks on certain selected fixed point theorems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
Fixed point theorems due to Lal et al. (1996) and Jungck (1988) are used to derive two common fixed point theorems involving six mappings in complete and compact metric spaces, respectively.
