A Patient‐Specific 3D Printed Carotid Artery Model Integrating Vascular Structure, Flow, and Endothelium Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces the first miniaturized, patient‐specific carotid artery model created via 3D printing using GelMA with embedded vascular cells. Combining CFD, PIV, and flow perfusion, the model replicates anatomically dependent hemodynamics and cellular responses.

Random fixed point theorems for asymptotic 1-set contraction operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
Random fixed point theorems for condensing, 1-set contraction selfless are known. But no random fixed point theorem for more general asymptotic 1-set contraction selfmaps is yet available.

FIXED POINT THEOREM FOR MULTIFUNCTIONS

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 1984
This paper proves a fixed point theorem for multifunctions by the Ekeland variational principle. As an application a theorem of Lusternik is reobtained, but the argument seems not entirely correct. Using the author's notation, the following counterexample may be considered: \(X=Y\), \(H(x)=x\), \(u=x\), \(T=I\), \(x_ 0=0\). Then p is arbitrary positive,

Computational Modeling of Reticular Materials: The Past, the Present, and the Future

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Reticular materials are advanced materials with applications in emerging technologies. A thorough understanding of material properties at operating conditions is critical to accelerate the deployment at an industrial scale. Herein, the status of computational modeling of reticular materials is reviewed, supplemented with topical examples highlighting ...

New Existence Results and Generalizations for Coincidence Points and Fixed Points without Global Completeness

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
Some new existence theorems concerning approximate coincidence point property and approximate fixed point property for nonlinear maps in metric spaces without global completeness are established in this paper.

Some fixed point theorems in b-metric-like spaces

open access: yes, 2015
In this work, some fixed point and common fixed point theorems are investigated in b-metric-like spaces. Some of our results generalize related results in the literature.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

Unique Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized Contractive Mappings in Partial Metric Spaces

open access: yes, 2015
We establish some unique fixed point theorems in complete partial metric spaces for generalized weakly -contractive mappings, containing two altering distance functions under certain assumptions.

Lithographically Controlled Liquid Metal Diffusion in Graphene: Fabrication and Magnetotransport Signatures of Superconductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Lithography‐guided intercalation creates a proximitized 2D superconducting Ga layer under graphene Hall bars via liquid‐metal intercalation. The image shows a Hall bar where Ga atoms from the liquid phase enter through patterned intercalation channels beneath quasi‐freestanding bilayer graphene, forming a confined 2D metal that demonstrates ...

Some Comments on Edelstein’s Fixed Point Theorems in ν-Generalized Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We study deeply two fixed point theorems in n-generalized metric spaces. The two theorems are generalizations of the famous, Edelstein’s fixed point theorem in compact metric ...
