New Existence and Uniqueness Results for Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2013
In this paper, we study a class of boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional differential equations with integral boundary conditions. Some new existence and uniqueness results are obtained by using Banach fixed point theorem.

Multiple positive solutions for a higher order boundary value problem on time scales

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we consider a nonlinear higher order three-point boundary value problem on time scales. We establish the criteria for the existence of one or two positive solutions for a higher order boundary value problem on time scales by using a result

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

Posterior Cortical Atrophy in the Asia‐Pacific: A Report From the PCA Asian Workgroup

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA) is a distinct dementia syndrome primarily affecting spatial abilities and visual processing. It is associated with degeneration in the posterior part of the brain. PCA is subclassified into PCA‐pure and PCA‐plus syndromes based on consensus criteria.

Well-Posedness of the Fixed Point Problem of Multifunctions of Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics
We consider a class of metrics which are equivalent to the Hausdorff metric in some sense to establish the well-posedness of fixed point problems associated with multifunctions of metric spaces, satisfying various generalized contraction conditions ...

On Fixed Point and Almost Fixed Point Problems of Lower Semicontinuous Type Multivalued Mappings

open access: yesActa Mathematica Sinica, English Series, 2005
The authors obtain almost fixed point theorems and fixed point theorems for lower semicontinuous type multivalued mappings in metrizable H-spaces. As an application, they obtain a nonempty intersection theorem for a multivalued mapping on a compact H-convex space. The main results are good variants and generalizations of the almost fixed point theorems

Uniqueness Conditions for Point-Rationalizable [PDF]

open access: yes
The unique point-rationalizable solution of a game is the unique Nash equilibrium. However, this solution has the additional advantage that it can be justified by the epistemic assumption that it is Common Knowledge of the players that only best ...

A Fixed-Point Frequency Domain Method Based on Magnetic Scalar Potential and Its Application to the DC Biased Problem in the Laminated Core

open access: yes, 2019
A fixed-point frequency domain algorithm based on the magnetic scalar and current vector potential is presented by using the complex exponential to approximate periodic variables.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.
