A Class of Neutral Equations with the Fixed Point Property [PDF]
For a neutral functional differential equation with a stable operator, D, it is shown that the solution operator is the sum of a contraction and a completely continuous operator.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

The Fixed Point Property in c0 with an Equivalent Norm
We study the fixed point property (FPP) in the Banach space c0 with the equivalent norm ‖⋅‖D. The space c0 with this norm has the weak fixed point property.

Isotone relations and the fixed point property for posets
A strengthened form of the fixed point property for posets is presented, in which isotone functions are replaced by more general isotone relations. For finite posets, this ‘relational fixed point property’ turns out to be equivalent to dismantlability ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Presentation complexes with the fixed point property [PDF]
We prove that there exists a compact two-dimensional polyhedron with the fixed point property and even Euler characteristic. This answers a question posed by R H Bing in 1969.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Coincidence and common fixed point of F-contractions via $CLR_{ST}$ property [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to establish the existence of coincidence and common fixed point of F-contractions via CLRST property. Our results generalize, extend and improve the results of Wardowski [D.
