Flame fronts in Supernovae Ia and their pulsational stability
The structure of the deflagration burning front in type Ia supernovae is considered. The parameters of the flame are obtained: its normal velocity and thickness. The results are in good agreement with the previous works of different authors.

A quasi‐1D pseudo‐layered NbS3 cathode for magnesium‐ion batteries can be created through electrochemically induced interlayer expansion. The widened ion‐transport channels enable fast magnesium ion diffusion and unlock coupled cationic‐anionic redox chemistry.

Depolymerization and Reuse of Polycarbonates: Emerging Classes, Mechanisms and Challenges
This review collects the latest developments in the area of chemical and catalytic polycarbonate recycling strategies and includes the controlled degradation of similar types of macromolecules. Apart from the main strategies for deconstruction, the key mechanistic features of these depolymerization processes are also discussed together with the ...

Effect of Longitudinal Oscillations on Downward Flame Spread over Thin Solid Fuels [PDF]
Downward flame spread rates over vertically vibrated thin fuel samples are measured in air at one atmospheric pressure under normal gravity. Unlike flame spread against forcedconvective flows, the present results show that with increasing vibration ...

Out‐of‐Equilibrium Supramolecular Assembly Sustained by Photocatalysis
Catalysis sustains structure: A Pt(II) supramolecular photocatalyst persists in a far‐from‐equilibrium state only as long as it remains photocatalytically active. Without ongoing catalytic activity, the system irreversibly relaxes into a thermodynamically stable but inactive state (PtB). Catalysis is essential for sustaining its structure.

Uncertainties and robustness of the ignition process in type Ia supernovae
It is widely accepted that the onset of the explosive carbon burning in the core of a CO WD triggers the ignition of a SN Ia. The features of the ignition are among the few free parameters of the SN Ia explosion theory.

Detonative Propagation and Accelerative Expansion of the Crab Nebula Shock Front
The accelerative expansion of the Crab nebula's outer envelope is a mystery in dynamics as a conventional expanding blast wave decelerates when bumping into the surrounding interstellar medium.

The impact of polyaniline insertion on the atomic orbitals and electronic structure of vanadium oxide anode is systematically investigated for the first time. The electrode exhibits an outstanding capacity and unprecedent long‐term cycling life, owing to the electron transition to the V 3dxy state and the enhanced diffusion kinetics.
