Influences of stretch and curvature on the temperature of stretched cylindrical diffusion flames
The structure of a counterflow-type cylindrical diffusion flame was studied experimentally to determine the effect of stretch and curvature. The cylindrical flame used in this study had a concave curvature with respect to the fuel stream.

Cellular structures of laminar lean premixed H2/CH4/air polyhedral flames
Fundamental studies on the effects of differential diffusion of hydrogen (H2) on flame structure are motivated as the high diffusivity of H2 presents challenges for the modeling and optimization of combustion systems.

Effects of the Flame Curvature on the Burning Velocity of Triple Flame
The upstream velocity and concentration fields of Triple Flame formed in a concentration gradient of a methane-air mixture have been measured on various flame curvatures in order to investigate the relation between the flame curvature and the burning velocity of Triple Flame. The flame curvatures are measured from the visible flame images. The unburned

Simultaneous measurements of flame geometry and flow field by OH-PLIF/Stereo PIV
It is difficult to understand turbulent combustion, because the combustion process is very complex and unsteady. One of the useful parameters for discussion of the unsteady flame behaviors is the flame stretch rate, which is evaluated by local flame ...

In this study, 3D premixed turbulent ammonia-hydrogen flames in air were studied using DNS. Mixtures with 75%, 50% and 25% ammonia (by mole fraction in the fuel mixture) and equivalence ratios of 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 were studied.

Equivolumetric Evolution of Planar Curves
We present the equivolumetric evolution of planar curves, which is a new type of curvature dependent evolution for a flame propagation model. This evolution reflects the nonlinear contribution of the curvature of the front to the flame propagation speed.
