Study on Flame Spread Characteristics of Flame-Retardant Cables in Mine

open access: yesAdvances in Polymer Technology, 2020
Polymer combustion is an important factor in mine fires. Based on the actual environment in a mine tunnel, a cable combustion experiment platform was established to study the regularities of the cable fire spread speed and smoke temperature under ...

Stabilization of a turbulent premixed flame by a plasma filament [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The mechanism of stabilizing a turbulent premixed methane-air flame using warm filamentary plasma is investigated by using laser diagnostics. First, stabilization of a turbulent jet flame is demonstrated in a setup using a pin-to-pin plasma discharge ...

Enhanced Photocatalytic H2O2 Production on Terpyridine‐Based Acrylonitrile‐Linked Covalent Organic Frameworks with Asymmetric Localized Electron Distribution

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Asymmetric localized electron distribution has been optimized in covalent organic frameworks to enhance *O2 adsorption and facilitate charge transfer, boosting photocatalytic two‐electron transfer oxygen reduction toward H2O2 production from water and air.

Study experimental of flame-spread rate and spread limit distance of bio-solar droplets in microgravity combustion

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
The most important issues in spray combustion science are how to understand the mechanism of the combustion of liquid fuel spray, especially in the flame-spread phenomenon.

可燃性固体の燃え拡がりに対するモデルの検討 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this study, the model for flame spread over solid fuel is investigated. To re-examine the analytical solution by de Ris, our experimental data on flame temperature and flame spread rate are used, which were obtained by the measurements of downward ...

In Situ Photopolymerization of Smectic B Liquid‐Crystalline Electrolytes from Mesogenic Phosphate–Diacrylate/Ionic Liquid Complexes for High‐Performance Soft Ionic Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A flexible liquid‐crystalline electrolyte membrane via in situ photopolymerization of a phosphate‐functionalized mesogen, ionic liquid, and diacrylate monomer is developed. The resulting smectic B (SmB)‐phase structure enables 2D ion transport with high conductivity (10−4 S cm−1).

部分予混合雰囲気中における可燃性固体上の火炎の燃え拡がり解析 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In this study, we numerically investigated downward flame spread over a thin solid fuel in partially premixed atmospheres. For simplicity, we assumed that the pyrolysis gas consists of methane and nitrogen. To consider the partially premixed atmospheres,
