Gluteal-fold adipofascial perforator flap transposition for rectourethral fistula reconstruction
If a rectourinary fistula does not close spontaneously, it requires surgical closure. We present our experience of rectourethral fistula reconstruction using a gluteal-fold perforator flap, resulting in a successful outcome. The patient was a 64-year-old

Heparin Administration Expands Flap Survival Area Possibly by Increasing the Concentration of Hepatocyte Growth Factor [PDF]
Hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)has a strong angiogenic effect on various organs. Rapid administration of intravenous heparin increases human plasma HGF concentration.

Experimental and numerical investigation of leading edge Krueger flaps at low Reynolds numbers [PDF]
Recent publications examining the flight of Eagles have shown that leading edge feather deflections occur on the lower surface of the wings in free flight to create a leading edge flap analogous to a Krueger flap system.

Our study reveals the protective role of GPR124 in maintaining BBB integrity and promoting neurological recovery following TBI. It makes a significant contribution by uncovering a novel molecular interaction between GPR124 and FGFBP1 and linking this to activation of the Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway in vascular repair mechanisms.

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

ABSTRACT Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) can be transformed into hydrogen (H2) through several chemical and catalytic processes, offering a promising route for both waste treatment and clean H2 production. This colorless, flammable, and toxic gas is found abundantly in swamps, volcanoes, hot springs, sewages, other natural gas fields, and even in refineries and

Injured or cut peripheral nerves can be surgically rerouted to reinnervate new muscle targets. This study demonstrates reinnervated muscles exhibit enhanced separability between individual motor unit signals, which can simplify signal recording and decomposition. These findings highlight the potential of reinnervated muscle to serve as a key biological
