On Zone Models For Flashover [PDF]
A zone model for the developmeii~ of a fire in a single compartment with one opening is studied to obtain explicit formulae for the critical conditions for occurrence of flashover and its temporal characteristics. In addition to previous studies, generalisation is presented for walls of arbitrary thermal inertia.

ABSTRACT High voltage equipment, as a core component of power systems, plays an indispensable role in ensuring the reliability of power supply through its safe and stable operation. Traditional visual defect detection for high voltage equipment, however, often relies on manual inspection and experience‐based judgement, which struggles to meet the ...

ABSTRACT Ice accumulation on transmission lines poses a persistent threat to grid stability, yet precise technical guidance for the dynamic response during ice shedding under wind loads remains insufficient. In response to this issue, this study uses C++ to create a calculation program and obtains aerodynamic coefficients of ice‐covered conductors with

Study on Fire Characteristics and Evacuation of the Haikousanlu Subway Station in Wuhan
In order to study the fire development and evacuation in the subway station, this paper establishes the simulation model of the fire and evacuation in the subway station through PyroSim and Pathfinder simulators. During the simulation, the smoke temperature, CO concentration, and visibility of key positions are recorded over time.
