Comparison Study of Solar Flat Plate Collector with Single and Double Glazing Systems
International Journal of Renewable Energy Research, 2017: Solar energy can be converted into useful energy in the form of thermal energy. One of the most efficient methods is to harvesting heat energy by using solar flat plate collector.

Calculation of flat-plate collector utilizability
Solar Energy, 1978Abstract The “utilizability” or φ-curve method developed by Whillier [1] and later generalized by Liu and Jordan[2, 3], can be a very useful design tool for some types of solar energy systems which utilize conventional flat-plate solar collectors. The generalized φ-curve method in its original form, however, has several drawbacks.

Flat-Plate and Evacuated Tube Collectors
2013Solar-energy collectors are devices employed to gain useful heat energy from the incident solar radiation. They can be of the concentrating or the flat-plate type. A simple flat-plate solar energy collector consists basically of an absorbing surface which absorbs the insolation and transmit it in form of heat to a working fluid commonly air or water. A

The ‘Albedo’ Flat-Plate Solar Collector
1984In the ‘albedo’ flat-plate collector, the rear solid insulation is replaced by an air-gap and window. With the collector mounted some distance above a white roof or ground, the absorber is irradiated also on its rear face, by sun and sky radiation reflected from the roof, thereby increasing the income of radiation in the order of 20–60%.
