A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Is attenuation technique sensitive enough to be used to make distinction between FF and FFF spectrum of therapy linac [PDF]
The purpose of this study was to check if attenuation analysis is sensitive enough to make a distinction between photon energy spectra of standard accelerators and accelerators operating without a field flattening filter.

Si‐doped AlCoCrFeNi high‐entropy alloys are synthesized by mechanical alloying to reveal the effect of Si content and milling time on phase evolution, microstructural refinement, and tribological behavior. A transition from FCC to BCC structure, significant grain refinement, and enhanced hardness and wear resistance are achieved, with the 4 at% Si ...

The Effect of Plastic Deformation on the Flattening of Friction Surfaces
This work aims to demonstrate the discrepancy between the results achieved in the application of ball-on-flat devices. Meanwhile, the interaction between contact parameters and the morphology of friction surfaces will be considered. Flattening depends on

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Assessment of the Possibility of Flattening Micronized Feed Grain
Introduction. The micronization of feed grain allows improving the digestibility of grain feed. However, flattening micronized grain to feed animals is difficult because of its increased fragility that results in grain overflattening during the ...

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Automated image segmentation-assisted flattening of atomic force microscopy images
Atomic force microscopy (AFM) images normally exhibit various artifacts. As a result, image flattening is required prior to image analysis. To obtain optimized flattening results, foreground features are generally manually excluded using rectangular ...

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...
