Flavonoidi so rastlinski sekundarni metaboliti, ki jih v telo vnasamo kot normalne sestavine hrane, lahko pa imajo tudi moene bioloske ueinke. Elanek predstavlja kratek pregled najpomembnejsih znaeilnosti flavonoidov, ki sega odnjihove kemijske razvrstitve in biosinteze do farmakoloskih lastnosti in terapevtske uporabe.

Flavonoidi pronadeni u medu posjeduju antioksidacijsku aktivnost koja svrstava med u namirnice zdrave prehrane. U radu je dat literaturni pregled iz kojeg se vidi koji su flavonoidi prisutni u medu i u kojim kolicinama.
