The Landscape of Long Non‐Coding RNAs Provides Insights Into the Domestication and Improvement of Pear Fruit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that long non‐coding RNAs represent important regulatory components underlying pear domestication and improvement. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify selected lncRNAs associated with fruit traits, while functional validation uncovers a lignin‐related lncRNA, lncRNA‐pys, that promotes lignin accumulation.

Measurement of the local and nonlocal amplitudes in B + → K + μ + μ − decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
This paper presents a thorough study of the local and nonlocal amplitudes in B + → K + μ + μ − transitions through an amplitude analysis of the dimuon mass spectrum of the decay.

Study of Flavour Changing Neutral Currents in Top Quark Decays with the CMS Detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
This paper contains the first realistic estimate for the CMS sensitivity to Flavour Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) in the top quark sector. The non Standard Model decays t -> Zq and t -> gamma q (q represents c or u quarks) have been studied at sqrts =

Low Latency Global Carbon Budget Reveals Late 2024 Carbon Losses and Contrasting Early 2025 Land Sink Recovery Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low latency carbon budget estimates for July 2024–June 2025 combine atmospheric CO2 growth rates, fossil emissions, ocean uptake, DGVM land fluxes, and OCO‐2 inversions. The budget shows that late‐2024 land carbon losses dominate the annual anomaly, while early‐2025 recovery differs between bottom‐up models and top‐down inversions, especially in ...

Prospects for searches of b → sν ν ¯ $$ b\to s\nu \overline{\nu} $$ decays at FCC-ee

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the physics reach and potential for the study of various decays involving a b → sν ν ¯ $$ b\to s\nu \overline{\nu} $$ transition at the Future Circular Collider running electron-positron collisions at the Z-pole (FCC-ee).

From Sensing Mechanisms to System Co‐Design: Graphene‐Based Sensors and Readout Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review establishes a unified PS–EQ–RF framework linking graphene sensing mechanisms, native electrical outputs, and output‐specific readout circuits. Voltage‐, current‐, resistance‐, and capacitance‐type sensing systems are systematically classified to guide architecture selection, low‐noise design, system co‐design, and practical integration ...

Measurement of the neutral current reaction at high Q2 in the H1 experiment at HERA II [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis presents inclusive ep double and single differential cross section measurements for neutral current deep inelastic scattering of longitudinally polarized leptons on protons as a function of the negative four-momentum transfer squared Q2 and ...

Constraints on the photon polarisation in b → sγ transitions using B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ → ϕe + e − decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
An angular analysis of the B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ → ϕe + e − decay is performed using the proton-proton collision dataset collected between 2011 and 2018 by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb −1 at centre-of-mass energies

Prospects for disentangling long- and short-distance effects in the decays B → K ∗ μ + μ −

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
Theory uncertainties on non-local hadronic effects limit the New Physics discovery potential of the rare decays B → K ∗ μ + μ − . We investigate prospects to disentangle New Physics effects in the short-distance coefficients from these effects.
