Ethical Precision in Nanoscale Brain Interfacing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As brain interfaces approach the nanoscale, precision no longer only measures—it knows, predicts, and potentially reshapes the mind. This work argues that traditional ethics fails under such conditions and proposes a shift toward continuous, operation‐based governance using the recovery–discovery framework to track, constrain, and responsibly steer ...

Neuromorphic Near‐Sensor and In‐Sensor Computing Enabled by Next‐Generation Material‐Based Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review presents a structural framework that classifies neuromorphic sensing into near‐sensor and in‐sensor architectures, clarifying physical coupling between sensing and computation. The framework connects neural and synaptic device functions with recent advances in optical, mechanical, and chemical sensing, compares energy consumption and ...

Gauge SU(2) f flavour transfers

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We introduce the idea of flavour transfer from a non-abelian horizontal SU(2) f flavour gauge group embedded in the Standard Model flavour structure. The new flavour vector bosons, in the mass range from the tens of GeV to multi-TeV, do not induce large ...

Search for the flavour-changing neutral-current decay D0 → μ+μ−

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1997
Abstract We have searched for the decay D 0 → μ + μ − among 2.0 × 10 5 μ + μ − pair produced, in the WA92 experiment, by 350 GeV/ c π − particles interacting in copper and tungsten targets. Using a high-resolution silicon-microstrip detector followed by a large-acceptance magnetic spectrometer and a muon filter we are able to ...

Recent Advances in Carbon Cathode Materials toward High‐Performing Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aqueous zinc‐ion hybrid supercapacitors (ZHSCs) have emerged as promising next‐generation electrochemical energy‐storage devices. Porous carbon materials have been extensively studied as cathodes, with advances in tailoring pore structures and material properties to enhance performance.

Photon polarisation in b → sγ using B → K*e+e− at LHCb

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The b → sγ transition proceeds through flavour changing neutral currents, and thus is particularly sensitive to the effects of new physics. An overview of the method to measure the photon polarisation at the LHCb experiment via an angular analysis of B →

Vacancy‐Driven Ni Exsolution in Prussian Blue Analogues Creates Cooperative Defect–Metal Sites for Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multimetal Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) are converted by low‐temperature Ar annealing into a cavity/CN‐vacancy architecture that triggers in situ Ni exsolution, creating dense Ni‐PBA interfacial motifs. These motifs optimize water dissociation and H* adsorption in alkaline media, delivering markedly accelerated HER kinetics and long‐term stability ...

Flavour changing neutral currents in predictive SUSY-GUTS

open access: yesZeitschrift für Physik C Particles and Fields, 1994
Constraints from flavour changing neutral currents are discussed in the context of predictive Grand Unified Supersymmetric Theories. Uncertainties in the estimation of their amplitudes are minimized by using a successful mass matrix ansatz which predicts the arbitrary parameters of the Standard Model.

Search for the FCNC charmonium decay J/ψ → D 0 μ + μ − + c.c.

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Based on a data sample of (10087 ± 44) × 106 J/ψ events taken with the BESIII detector, we search for the flavor-changing neutral current charmonium decay J/ψ → D 0 μ + μ − + c.c. .
