FlavBit: a GAMBIT module for computing flavour observables and likelihoods

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
Flavour physics observables are excellent probes of new physics up to very high energy scales. Here we present FlavBit, the dedicated flavour physics module of the global-fitting package GAMBIT.

Lattice Flavour Physics [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of XXIst International Europhysics Conference on High Energy Physics — PoS(EPS-HEP2011), 2012
I briefly discuss recent lattice calculations of a selected list of hadronic matrix elements that play a role in flavour physics. I also discuss how the present accuracy on these quantities can eventually be improved by considering effects that have been neglected up to now (isospin breaking, long distance, etc.).

Flavour Physics with SuperIso [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of Tools for High Energy Physics and Cosmology — PoS(TOOLS2020), 2021
We describe SuperIso v4.1, a public code for calculation of flavour observables, in the Standard Model and for New Physics scenarios in a model-independent way as well as for specific beyond the SM models such as two Higgs doublet models (2HDM), minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and next-to-minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM).

The impact of flavour data on global fits of the MFV SMEFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We investigate the information that can be gained by including flavour data in fits of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) with the assumption of Minimal Flavour Violation (MFV), allowing — as initial conditions at the high scale — leading ...

New Physics from Flavour [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 36th International Conference on High Energy Physics — PoS(ICHEP2012), 2013
I report on investigations of physics beyond the Standard Model using experiments designed to investigate $b$ quark and $c$ quark interactions. Generalized searches involving loop diagrams using heavy meson mixing and CP violation experiments imply limits on New Physics (NP) at large scales from 100-100,000 TeV. There are ways of avoiding these limits,

Flavour physics and extra-dimensions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
Randall-Sundrum (RS) model of warped extra-dimensions were originally proposed to explain the Planck-weak scale hierarchy. It was soon realised that modifications of the original setup, by introducing the fields in the bulk, has several interesting ...

Anomalies in the heavy sector [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2022
Heavy flavour physics is well described by the Standard Model with the exception of some measurements which could be signalling new physics. We briefly review status and prospects of R(K) and R(D(*)) anomalies and also address the issue of the long ...

Search for Charged Lepton Flavour Violation at CMS

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
Lepton flavour is a conserved quantity in the standard model of particle physics, but it does not follow from an underlying gauge symmetry. After the discovery of neutrino oscillation, it has been established that lepton flavour is not conserved in the ...

Flavour Violating Axions [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2020
I review the physics case for flavour violating axions. In particular, I argue that relaxing the assumption of the universality of the Peccei-Quinn current opens up new pathways, including: the relaxation of the Supernova bound on the axion mass, a ...
