Effect of printing orientation and post-curing time on the flexural strength of 3D-printed resins.
Journal of Prosthodontics, 2022PURPOSE To evaluate the effect of printing orientation combined with different post-curing times on the flexural strength of 3D-printed resins. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 480 rectangular specimens with the dimensions of 64×10×3.3 mm were designed

ZAMP Zeitschrift fr angewandte Mathematik und Physik, 1985
(From authors' summary.) Combinatorial identities, trigonometric formulas, together with complex variable techniques are used to derive exact and closed expressions for the six flexure functions of certain isotropic cylinders under flexure. The cross sections are bounded either by the closed curves \(r=\alpha \cos^ n(\theta /n)\) \((-\pi

An abnormality at the hepatic flexure [PDF]
A 92 year old woman presented to the emergency department after collapsing at home. She recalled standing from her chair, feeling lightheaded, and then collapsing. She had felt generally weak for more than a year, with weight loss of 56 lb (25.2 kg) but no change in bowel habit, dysphagia, or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Fecaloma of the sigmoid flexure
Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 1966Fecaloma of the distal portion of the colon occurs rarely, but it should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any polypoid type of lesion. Often the diagnosis can be made from the clinical and radiologic features. In the beginning, therapy should be conservative, but surgical removal may be required.

Tensile and flexural properties of natural fiber reinforced polymer composites: A review
Journal of reinforced plastics and composites, 2018In recent years, researchers and scientists are facing problems in terms of environmental imbalance and global warming owing to numerous use of composite materials prepared by synthetic fibers and petrochemical polymers.

Fistulas of the sigmoid flexure
Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 1961Records of a series of 28 patients with sigmoidal fistulas have been reviewed. Our discussion of the incidence and pathogenesis of sigmoidal fistulas is based on a review of the literature and a study of a collected series of cases. The value of various diagnostic features (symptomatology, physical examination, sigmoidoscopy, roentgenography, urologic ...
