Follower voltage flipped with FGMOS transistors for low-voltage and low-power applications
2013 10th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE), 2013In this paper a new follower voltage flipped (FVF), with floating gate CMOS transistors (FGMOS) is proposed. To demonstrate that the proposed structure with FGMOS transistors is a very suitable structure to solve problems for analog cells design with low voltage and low power, theoretical steps design are presented together with its simulation.

Low-voltage low-power wideband CMOS current conveyors based on the flipped voltage follower
Proceedings of the 2003 International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003. ISCAS '03., 2003A recently proposed analog cell suited to low-voltage and low power operation and named "flipped voltage follower" is applied to the design of current conveyors. Two alternative topologies are presented, both operating at 1.5 V and featuring simplicity, compactness, low power consumption and bandwidths up to 100 MHz for a 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS technology.

“The flipped voltage follower”-based low voltage fully differential CMOS sample-and-hold circuit
2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2008This paper presents the design and preliminary results of a full differential sample-and-hold circuit based on the "flipped voltage follower" (FVF) cell. The heart of this circuit is a fully differential low-voltage OTA based on FVF technique. The use of the FVF reduces the supply power requirements in the OTA.

Low-Voltage Squarer–Divider Circuit Using Level Shifted Flipped Voltage Follower
2021In this paper, a low-voltage one-quadrant squarer–divider (SD) circuit based on level shifted flipped voltage follower (LSFVF) has been proposed. The proposed squarer–divider circuit utilizes low-voltage SD based on MOS translinear (MTL) principle. In the proposed design, flipped voltage follower (FVF) configuration used for biasing of MTL transistors ...

Linear transconductor with flipped voltage follower in 130 nm CMOS
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2009This paper presents a modified design method for linear transconductor circuit in 130 nm CMOS technology to improve linearity, robustness against process induced threshold voltage variability and reduce harmonic distortion. Source follower in the adaptively biased differential pair (ABDP) linear transconductor circuit is replaced with flipped voltage ...

A fast-transient LDO based on buffered flipped voltage follower
2010 IEEE International Conference of Electron Devices and Solid-State Circuits (EDSSC), 2010In this work, the analysis of the flipped voltage follower (FVF) based single-transistor-control (STC) LDO is given. Two evolved versions of FVF, cascaded FVF (CAFVF) and level shifted FVF (LSFVF), are studied. Then, a buffered FVF (BFVF) for LDO application is proposed, combining the virtues of both CAFVF and LSFVF structures.

The flipped voltage follower: a useful cell for low-voltage low-power circuit design
2002 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Proceedings (Cat. No.02CH37353), 2003In this paper a new basic cell for low-power and/or low-voltage operation is identified. It is shown that different versions of this cell, called "flipped voltage follower", have been used in the past for different applications. New circuits using this cell are also proposed here.

Low voltage flipped voltage follower based current mirror using DTMOS technique
IMPACT-2013, 2013Current mirror is one of the basic building blocks of mixed mode and analog VLSI systems. For high performance analog circuit applications at low voltage, the accuracy, bandwidth and power dissipation are the most important parameters to determine the performance of the current mirror.
