Design impact on three gate Dynamic Flash Memory (3G_DFM) for long hole retention time and robust disturbance shield

open access: yesMemories - Materials, Devices, Circuits and Systems, 2023
TCAD simulation using Silvaco software has shown that the 3G_DFM, which has SG1 (Select Gate 1), PL (Plate Line Gate), and SG2 (Select Gate 2) between SL (Source Line) and BL (Bit Line), has a long retention time of 100ms at 85 °C, and a robust ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Robust doublet STDP in a floating-gate synapse [PDF]

open access: yes2014 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN), 2014
Learning in a neural network typically happens with the modification or plasticity of synaptic weight. Thus the plasticity rule which modifies the synaptic strength based on the timing difference between the pre- and post-synaptic spike occurrence is termed as Spike Time Dependent Plasticity (STDP).

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Monolayer MoS2-based nonvolatile transistors with a titanium nitride in the gate

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
Low-power, nonvolatile transistors are demanded in the digital electronics development. In our work, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) acts as the channel material integrated with TiN, which is used as a floating gate to build a floating gate transistor.

Characterization and sensitivity enhancement of a floating gate dosimeter for radiation monitoring to electronics

open access: yes, 2022

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Floating-Gate-Coupled Two-Cell Electrochemical Transistor Augmented with Faradic Current Generated by Organic Semiconductor Ion Traps

open access: yes
In this work, we demonstrate a floating gate organic electrochemical transistor (OECT) formed with two cells coupled through faradic current generated by continuously trapping ions into ion traps made with an organic semiconductor.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
