RESEARCH ON DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF SUPER LARGE FLOATING WIND TURBINE BASED ON CHAOS THEORY

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2022
The non-linear motion characteristics of the large-scale floating wind turbine have been significantly enhanced. For this reason, the DTU 10 MW wind turbine was used as the research object, and the NAUTILUS semi-submersible platform floating wind turbine

Design of Variable Pitch Control Method for Floating Wind Turbine

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Because of the randomness of wind speed and the nonlinearity of the dynamic equation of variable pitch control, it is difficult to establish an accurate dynamic equation of variable pitch of floating fan. In view of this situation, this paper takes the 5

Combined Process‐ and Phase‐Field‐Simulation to Predict the Microstructure of Single‐Crystal Ni‐Based Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A combined finite element and phase‐field approach predicts the evolution of microstructure during the directional solidification of Ni‐based superalloys. The model reveals how withdrawal rate, temperature gradient, and wall thickness control the dendrite spacing, highlighting the strong effect of surface regions in thin sections where dendrite growth ...

Floating wind turbines structural details fatigue life assessment

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
AbstractFatigue damage prediction is essential for safety of contemporary offshore energy industrial projects, like offshore wind turbines, that are to be designed for sufficiently long operational period of time, with minimal operational disruptions. Offshore structures being designed to withstand environmental loadings due to winds and waves.

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
