Integration of Spatiotemporal Multi‐Omics in Peach Fruit Unravels a Metabolic Niche and the Genetic Basis of Trichome‐Mediated Stress Adaptation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructed the first spatiotemporal multi‐omics map of peach fruit and discovered a key candidate gene that synergistically regulates trichome development and drought tolerance through the jasmonic acid signaling pathway, providing insights into the coupling mechanism between development and stress resistance.

Comparative transcriptomic analysis of the flower induction and development of the Lei bamboo (Phyllostachys violascens)

open access: yesBMC Bioinformatics, 2019
Background Bamboo is a very important forest resource. However, the prolonged vegetative stages and uncertainty of flowering brings difficulties in bamboo flowers sampling. Until now, the flowering mechanism of bamboo is still unclear.

Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Studies on the floral induction of slow bolting spinach. (II)

open access: yesEngei Gakkai zasshi, 1957
1. In order to obtain the basic data for breeding and seed production in spinach, experiments were carried out on the low temperature induction of bolting using the following 13 varieties of spinach differing in photoperiodic requirement: Nihon-zairai, Ujo, Jiromaru, Wakakusa, Hoyo (those are early bolters) ; Hollandia, Viroflay, Long Standing ...
