Insect floral visitors of crops: a taxonomical and functional characterisation
Animal pollination is central to food system sustainability: 75% of cultivated plants depend, partially or totally, on floral visitors for fruit and seed production. Global agriculture experiences an increase in crop dependence to pollinators, which are predominantly insects.
