Stochastic Entanglement of Deterministic Origami Tentacles For Robust Robotic Grasping

Advanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces an origami tentacle gripper to robustly grasp objects‐in air, underwater, and even in orbital space‐by exploiting a synergy between local, deterministic deformation programming and global, stochastic entanglements. A single origami tentacle can be designed to coil with a simple tendon pull.

Ahcy Acts as an Effector of Hnf4a‐Driven Super‐Enhancer Activation to Alleviate MASLD During Intermittent Fasting

Our study identifies an Hnf4a‐driven super‐enhancer of hepatic Ahcy that mediates the protective effects of intermittent fasting against MASLD. Disruption of the Ahcy super‐enhancer reduces Ahcy expression and exacerbates lipid accumulation. Engineering Slow‐Carrier Interfacial Recombination Enables Tailored Spectral Response

This work demonstrates that weak‐drift slow carriers are preferentially captured at generic semiconductor surfaces/interfaces and recombine. This process is manipulated to achieve tailored spectral response. A tens of µm‐wide depletion region is created to observe surface collection rates for photocarriers generated at different positions.
