Preferential weld corrosion of X65 pipeline steel in flowing brines containing carbon dioxide [PDF]
The aim of this research was to investigate the cause of the severe localised corrosion that sometimes occurs at welds in carbon steel pipelines carrying hydrocarbons and inhibited brines saturated with carbon dioxide.

Effects of oxidation and hot corrosion in a nickel disc alloy [PDF]
This paper describes work to study oxidation and hot corrosion damage in nickel disc alloy RR1000. Oxidation damage has been characterised via mass change data from thermogravimetric analyses at temperatures from 700 to 800 ºC and cyclic oxidation ...

Statistical Analysis of Corrosion Process Flow
This paper presents the results of testing two different materials in aggresive atmosphere rich in sodium chloride (NaCl) depending on different time intervals (48, 96, 168, 240 hours), in order to determine the corrosion process flow. One of the materials is general structural steel SA516 Gr.70 and the other is austenitic stainless steel X6CrNiTi18-10.
