Water-Sediment Characteristics and Flow-Sediment Diversion Patterns in Typical Bifurcated Channels in the Middle Reaches of Huaihe River [PDF]

open access: yes长江科学院院报
[Objective] Current research on water-sediment characteristics of the Huaihe River mainstream mainly focuses on single channels, while studies on water-sediment characteristics, relationships, and diversion patterns in its bifurcated channels are limited.

Phase Diagrams Enable Solid‐State Battery Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Batteries are non‐equilibrium devices with inherent thermodynamic driving forces to react at interfaces, regardless of kinetics or operating conditions. Chemical potential mismatches across interfaces are dissipated via interfacial reactions. In this work, it is illustrated how phase diagrams and chemical potential maps predict degradation pathways but

Additive Manufacturing of Patient‐Specific Intracranial Aneurysm Cell Culture Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Patient‐specific intracranial aneurysm models were fabricated using chocolate moulding, 3D printed water‐soluble cores, and direct resin 3D printing. Moulding PDMS around sacrificial cores made of chocolate or 3D printed water‐soluble resin yielded accurate, expandable, and endothelializable models that outperformed resin‐based approaches.
