Labor market flows in the cross section and over time [PDF]
Many theoretical models of labor market search imply a tight link between worker flows (hires and separations) and job gains and losses at the employer level. We use rich establishment-level data to assess several theoretical models and to study the relationship between worker flows and jobs flows.

Generalized Maximum Flows over Time
2012Flows over time and generalized flows are two advanced network flow models of utmost importance, as they incorporate two crucial features occurring in numerous real-life networks. Flows over time feature time as a problem dimension and allow to realistically model the fact that commodities (goods, information, etc.) are routed through a network over ...

Motivated by the dynamic traffic assignment problem and with the goal in mind to obtain a better understanding of the complex traffic dynamics, we consider a dynamic game in a flow over time model with deterministic queuing in this thesis. The dynamic equilibria, called Nash flows over time, in the base version of this model were introduced by Koch and

Time-Dependent Viscous Flow over a Circular Cylinder
The Physics of Fluids, 1969A finite difference method is extended to high Reynolds number flow about circular cylinders with particular emphasis given to the quantitative description of fine flow features. The method is of the explicit type and includes a directional difference scheme for the nonlinear terms which enhances calculational stability at high Reynolds numbers. A cell

Existence and Uniqueness of Equilibria for Flows over Time
2011Network flows that vary over time arise naturally when modeling rapidly evolving systems such as the Internet. In this paper, we continue the study of equilibria for flows over time in the single-source single-sink deterministic queuing model proposed by Koch and Skutella.

Flows Over Time with Flow-Dependent Transit Times

A Survey on Models of Flows over Time with Flow Dependent Transit Times
Prāgyik PrabāhaFord and Fulkerson introduce the maximum dynamic flow problems with fixed transit times on the arcs and developed the first well known algorithm that sends maximum flow from the source to the sink by augmenting along s-t paths and prove the maximum amount of flow is equal to the total capacity of the arcs in minimum cut.
