Spatio-temporal structure of traffic flow in a system with an open boundary
The spatio-temporal structure of traffic flow pattern is investigated under the open boundary condition using the optimal velocity (OV) model. The parameter region where the uniform solution is convectively unstable is determined.

Global Flow of Glasma in High Energy Nuclear Collisions [PDF]
We discuss the energy flow of the classical gluon fields created in collisions of heavy nuclei at collider energies. We show how the Yang-Mills analoga of Faraday's Law and Gauss' Law predict the initial gluon flux tubes to expand or bend.

ABSTRACT Background B‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B‐LBL) represents a rare variety of non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, with limited research on its biology, progression, and management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical characteristics of 256 patients aged ≤18 years who received treatment under the China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL)‐

A penta-hybrid approach for modeling the nanofluid flow in a spatially dependent magnetic field
The penta-hybrid nanofluid is a nanofluid that contains five different types of nanoparticles. It can achieve higher heat transfer rates than conventional hybrid nanofluids due to the synergistic effects of the nanoparticles.

Numerical Investigation and Performance Evaluation of Boiling Slug Flow Regime of Water Vapor in Vertical Tubes [PDF]
The boiling phenomenon and two-phase flow regimes have provoked extensive research due to the increased heat transfer coefficient and significant industrial applications. In order to model correct heat transfer of boiling, it is important to simulate its

Characteristics of ion flow in the quiet inner plasma sheet [PDF]
We use AMPTE/IRM and ISEE 2 data to study the properties of the high beta (βi \u3e 0.5) plasma sheet, the inner plasma sheet (IPS). Bursty bulk flows (BBFs) are excised from the two databases, and the average flow pattern in the non-BBF (quiet) IPS is ...

Electroosmotic Flow Dipole: Experimental Observation and Flow Field Patterning [PDF]
We experimentally demonstrate the phenomenon of electroosmotic dipole flow that occurs around a localized surface charge region under the application of an external electric field in a Hele-Shaw cell. We use localized deposition of polyelectrolytes to create well-controlled surface charge variations, and show that for a disk-shaped spot, the internal ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild
