Research Progress of Flower Bud Differentiation of Apple

2023
Flowering is a prerequisite for apple fruiting, and apple flower buds are mixed buds, that is, the vegetative organs and flower structure exist in the same terminal bud simultaneously, which are formed in the year before flowering and fruiting, mainly including spur terminal buds and axillary buds.

STUDY ON FLOWER BUD MORPHOLOGICAL DIFFERENTIATION OF 'TIANXIANG' STRAWBERRY

Acta Horticulturae, 2014
Flower bud differentiation is very important for the yield and quality of strawberry fruit. In order to identify flower bud development, the paraffin section method was adopted to observe the morphological differentiation of apical meristems of ‘Tianxiang’ strawberry (Fragaria A— ananassa Duch.) runner plants in Beijing, 2009.

Spermidine and flower-bud differentiation in thin-layer explants of tobacco

Planta, 1988
Three lines of evidence indicate a connection between high spermidine levels and floral initiation in thin-layer tissue cultures of Wisconsin-38 tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.). (1) Spermidine levels are much higher in floral buds than in vegetative buds.

[Differentiation of Magnolia denudata Desr. flower buds].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 1991
The article gives the results of an observation on the differentiation of Magnolia denudata buds. In Huaining County, Anhui Province, differentiation of the buds starts at the beginning of May. By the end of June the differentiation of various parts of the flower is completed. The process takes about 50 days.

Flower bud induction and differentiation.

2008
AbstractThis chapter describes the stages of flower bud induction and differentiation, and the factors affecting flowering bud induction (i.e. light, juvenility, temperature, growth regulators, sugars and nutrient elements, oleuropein levels, harvesting date, fruit thinning, and defoliation) in olive.

Flower bud induction, initiation, differentiation and development in the ‘Earliglow’ strawberry

Scientia Horticulturae, 1987
Abstract ‘Earliglow’ strawberry plants were sampled from September to the end of October and subjected to short days (9 h) or long days (9 h with the dark period interrupted from 23.00 to 02.00 h with low-level incandescent radiation), with or without chilling (4.4°C), in the phytotron at NCSU.

Review ArticleFlower bud induction and differentiation in olive

The Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology, 2000
SummaryFlower bud induction in the olive is a long lasting process, influenced by a number of factors, both internal and external to the tree. Research results seem to confirm the hypothesis of a two-step induction, eventually leading to the onset of flower bud differentiation, which appears to be started at the end of autumn.

Determination of Flower Bud Differentiation Duration in Jerseymac and Jonagold Apples

2015
Her iki çeşidin
