YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Various formulations are reviewed in the case of linear vibration analysis of bounded fluid-structure systems for low modal density situations. Compressibility effects in the fluid for interior structural-acoustic problems, and free surface gravity effects, as well as for hydroelastic-sloshing interaction problems in the case of incompressible liquids,

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Application of Finite Element Package in the Platform Development for Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis [PDF]
In the past, most of the fluid-structure interaction researches are concerned with structures of simple shapes or linear elastic materials because analysis programs for such structures are easy to be implemented or available as commercial packages ...

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Fluid structure interaction analysis of a calcified aortic valve [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of calcification of the aortic-valve leaflets on the flow pattern and hemodynamic parameters such as transvalvular pressure gradient and valve orifice area based on fluid structure interaction modelling ...

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.
