A NETs‐inspired Ti3C2/LDH hydrogel integrates trapping, ROS boosting, and M2‐immunomodulation for MRSA‐infected wound repair. ABSTRACT MRSA infections give rise to chronic cutaneous and advance into profound tissue invasions, including osteomyelitis and sepsis—conditions for which existing clinical interventions offer only limited efficacy. The utility

Fluid–fluid interfacial areas are important in controlling the rate of mass and energy transfer between fluid phases in porous media. We developed a modified thermodynamically based model (TBM) to predict fluid–fluid interfacial areas in porous media for arbitrary drainage–imbibition sequences. The TBM explicitly distinguishes between interfacial areas

Hafnium (Hf)‐rich carbon dots (Hf‐rCDs) with high metal content (40.7%) and robust batch production capacity (>2 g per batch) are synthesized via a facile air‐assisted pyrolysis method. In vivo CT imaging demonstrates outstanding performance of Hf‐rCDs across multiple physiological systems and enables high‐resolution visualization of swine cervical ...

A novel Bifidobacterium breve strain, Yang08, is isolated to counter its depletion in atopic dermatitis. In mice, live Yang08 requires an intact gut microbiota to exert protection, specifically enriching Akkermansia muciniphila and potently inhibiting pathogenic neutrophil activation and NETosis in the skin.

Ultrasonic monitoring of spontaneous imbibition experiments: Acoustic signature of fluid migration
AbstractCapillary rise experiments (spontaneous imbibition tests) were conducted in the laboratory with ultrasonic and X‐ray monitoring on the Sherwood sandstone and the Majella grainstone. The aim was to provide a direct comparison between the variation in seismic attributes (amplitude, velocity, spectral content, and energy) and the actual fluid ...

Capillary rise of a liquid between two vertical plates making a small angle.
The penetration of a wetting liquid in the narrow gap between two vertical plates making a small angle is analyzed in the framework of the lubrication approximation.

Constitutive PRKCN expression is driven by super‐enhancers and modulated by NF‐κB signaling in multiple myeloma (MM). PRKCN activates mTORC1/2‐IRF4 signaling axis and favors tumor cell growth independently of its kinase activity. IRF4 reciprocally promotes PRKCN transcription, creating a feed‐forward loop.
