Characteristics of inclusions in chang 7 member and shale oil accumulation stages in Zhijing-Ansai area, Ordos Basin.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
In order to further clarify the shale oil accumulation period of the Chang 7 member of the Mesozoic Triassic Yanchang Formation in the Zhijing-Ansai area of the central Ordos Basin, Using fluid inclusion petrography analysis, microscopic temperature ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Entrapment and re-equilibration of gold-bearing fluid inclusions (Sigma deposit - Abitibi belt - Canada). A multidisciplinary study.

open access: yes, 2005
Sigma is a large network of steeply dipping, Au-mineralized quartz-tourmaline-carbonate shear veins and subhorizontal extension veins. We have used 1) petrographic identification of eight fluid inclusions assemblages (FIAs) trapped during quartz ...

Determining Salinity of Fluid Inclusions by Cryogenic Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2014
Chlorides are the most common and important solutes in liquid phase of natural fluid inclusions, but they are difficult to study by Laser Raman Microscopy (LRM) at room temperature, due to their strong ionic bonds, which are not Raman active under ...

Novel Crushing Technique for Measuring δ18O and δ2H Values of Fluid Inclusions (H2O) in Quartz Mineral Veins Using Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy

open access: yesGeofluids
Fluid inclusions in mineralized fracture infillings (i.e., veins) could preserve information about subsurface fluids like temperature and salinity.

Characterization of fluid inclusions and sulfur isotopes in the Iju porphyry copper deposit, North West of Shahr-e-Babak

open access: yesJournal of Economic Geology, 2017
Introduction The Iju porphyry copper deposit is located in the southern part of the Urumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc (Dehaj-Sarduieh belt) within the Kerman copper belt (Dimitrijevic, 1973).

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Innovative isotope ratio measurements of speleothem fluid inclusions

open access: yes, 2015
Speleothem (cave carbonates) are recognised as a key continental archive for paleoclimate reconstructions. Stalagmites in particular often contain fluid inclusions that represent natural repositories of cave drip water and consequently relics of past ...
