‘Covington' Sweetpotato Tolerance to Flumioxazin Applied POST-Directed
Weed Technology, 2014Field studies were conducted at Clinton, NC (2009, 2010), and Kinston, NC (2010), to determine ‘Covington' sweetpotato tolerance to flumioxazin applied after transplanting. Flumioxazin was directed to 25% of the sweetpotato vine beginning at the distal end (shoot tip), 25% of the vine beginning at the proximal end (crown), or to the entire vine (over ...

Postemergence Weed Control in Onion with Bentazon, Flumioxazin, and Oxyfluorfen
Weed Technology, 2017Field experiments were conducted in 2008 and 2010 to determine crop tolerance and weed control efficacy of the POST herbicides bentazon, flumioxazin, and oxyfluorfen applied to direct-seeded dry bulb onions on organic soil. Postemergence application of oxyfluorfen at 0.071 kg ai ha−1resulted in less than 20% onion injury when applied at the 2 and 4 ...

Effect of the herbicide flumioxazin on photosynthetic performance of grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.)
Chemosphere, 2007Among the herbicides used in vineyards, the pre-emergence soil-applied flumioxazin (fmx) is a recently used molecule that inhibits chlorophyll biosynthesis in weed species. The aim of this work is to further characterize the effects of fmx on the non-target grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Chardonnay) using cutting as a model.
