Fluoride Release from a Silicophosphate Cement with Added Fluoride
The fluoride release from a silicophosphate cement with added fluoride was compared to that from glass ionomer and silicophosphate cements. The fluoride-enriched cement was found to release four times more fluoride than did the glass ionomer cement and five to 15 times more fluoride than did the silicophosphate cement.

Release of Fluoride into Saliva after Topical Fluoride Application
Fluoride uptake by the surface enamel of teeth treated with fluoride solutions in vitro and fluoride release into saliva after topical applications in vivo were determined. The fluoride uptake after NaF + Na 2 HPO 4 treatment was higher than that after ...

Fluoride Release from Fluoride Varnishes under Acidic Conditions [PDF]
Objective: The aim was to investigate the in vitro fluoride release from fluoride varnishes under acidic conditions. Study design: Poly(methyl methacrylate) blocks (Perspex, n=3 per group) were painted with 80±5 mg fluoride varnish (n=10) and placed into artificial saliva for 30min.

Fluoride release and uptake capacities of fluoride-releasing restorative materials.
Many fluoride-releasing dental materials are being sold on the basis of their cariostatic properties. However, the amount fluoride release of these materials is still uncertain. This study investigated the fluoride release and uptake characteristics of four flowable resin composites (Heliomolar Flow, Tetric Flow, Wave, Perma Flo), one flowable compomer

Evaluation of Factors Affecting Fluoride Release from Fluoride Varnishes: A Systematic Review. [PDF]
Introduction: Fluoride varnishes are widely used in caries prevention, but the rate and duration of fluoride ion release differ depending on material composition and environmental factors.

Fluoridated orthodontic adhesives: Implications of release and recharge and their impact on shear bond strength in demineralized tooth surfaces [PDF]
Background. This study measured fluoride release from a light-cured orthodontic adhesive resin (Vega type) at three time intervals (one day, one week, and one month), investigated the rechargeability of the resin, and assessed its impact on shear bond ...
