Targeting the noradrenergic‐metabolic axis: A new strategy for sugar‐induced depression subtypes
Abstract Background and Purpose Lifestyle is closely related to major depressive disorder (MDD). Given the growing focus on the impact of diet on mental health, this study examined how dietary habits affect the pathophysiology of MDD. Experimental Approach Health check‐up data were analysed. Mice received sucrose under chronic unpredictable mild stress

Development of Symptomatic Bone Marrow Metastasis After Complete Response to Immunochemotherapy in Squamous Cell Lung Carcinoma. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Introduction Symptomatic bone marrow metastasis in squamous cell lung cancer after achieving a complete response to immunochemotherapy has not been reported previously. Case Presentation A 63‐year‐old Japanese man was referred to our hospital for further examination of an abnormal chest radiograph.

DNA methylation‐based diagnostic model enables accurate, noninvasive identification of upper mediastinal lymph node metastasis and may guide personalized treatment strategies for patients with esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma. ABSTRACT Even after surgical resection, the prognosis is poor for patients with esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma ...

18F-fluorodeoxyglucose uptake in tumor.
The 18fluorine-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG), a glucose analog, has been widely used in tumor imaging. The tumoral uptake of 18F-FDG is based upon enhanced glycolysis. Following administration, 18F-FDG is phosphorylated and trapped intracellularly that forms the basis of PET imaging.

ABSTRACT Background Differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) is typically managed surgically with favourable outcomes. However, surgery may have dire consequences when the tumour invades critical structures. Neoadjuvant therapy with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has emerged as a potential strategy to improve resectability and reduce morbidity in ...

Mapping Alzheimer's disease heterogeneity with molecular imaging biomarkers
This review outlines positron emission tomography (PET) biomarkers used in Alzheimer's disease (AD) research and clinical settings, targeting both specific (amyloid, tau) and non‐specific (neurodegeneration, synaptic density, neuroinflammation) processes.
