Fluorometer to spectrophotometer converter
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1996A simple accessory has been constructed that will convert a standard laboratory spectrofluorometer into a spectrophotometer. This attachment fits within the sample compartment of a spectrofluorometer and consists of a cuvette holder, two mirrors, and two collimators.

A sensitive polarized fluorometer for clinical tests
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1994A fully automated fluorometer which measures fluorescence depolarization is described. The instrument has been designed to work with standard microtiter sample holders normally used in clinical tests. The combination of a hybrid optical system, built with discrete optical elements and fiber bundles, and a digital Fourier analysis of the detected ...

10-GHz frequency-domain fluorometer
SPIE Proceedings, 1990We describe the design and performance of a 10 GHz harmonic-content frequency-domain fluorometer. The modulated excitation is provided by the harmonic content of a train of ps pulses. High speed and/or high frequency detection was attained with a triode-type MCP PMT from Hamamatsu, R-2566-6, with 6 micron channels.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1963
The design of a new double-beam fluorometer is described. This fluorometer uses a new double-beam lamp to alternately irradiate sample and reference. The resultant fluorescent light is detected by a photomultiplier. After amplification, the sample and reference signals are separated by means of a ring demodulator.

CMOS Fluorometer for Oxygen Sensing
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2012This letter presents an integrated complementary metal-oxide semiconductor fluorometer that utilizes frequency-domain fluorescence lifetime imaging spectroscopy for oxygen-sensing applications. The implemented fluorometer chip consists of a p+/n-well/p-substrate photodiode, a phase readout circuit with integrated zero-crossing detection to extract the ...

2-GHz frequency-domain fluorometer
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1986We developed a frequency-domain fluorometer which operates from 4 to 2000 MHz. The modulated excitation is provided by the harmonic content of a laser pulse train (3.76 MHz, 5 ps) from a synchronously pumped and cavity dumped dye laser. The phase angle and modulation of the emission are measured with a microchannel-plate photomultiplier (PMT).

Photon-Counting Phase-Modulation Fluorometer
Optical Review, 2001We propose a phase-modulation fluorometer that is applicable to a very weak fluorescence intensity level. In order to counter the single-photon event situation, we have introduced a combination of a time-to-amplitude converter and a pulse height analyzer (PHA) to the fluorometer, the combination of which is usually used in the single-photon correlation

Calibrating fluorometers for clinical diagnostics
SPIE Proceedings, 2009Everyone would like to calibrate their fluorometers with a stable transferable fluorescent object. Existing stable fluorophores generally do not match the geometrical, spectral or anisotropic properties of samples used in in-vitro diagnostics. This paper will discuss the ideal features of fluorescence calibrators and why no practical calibrators exist.
