Inferior Vena Cava Ultrasound for Decongestion Assessment in Acute Heart Failure: Systematic Review
This systematic review of 629 patients suggests that using IVC ultrasound to guide decongestion in acute heart failure significantly improves clinical outcomes. This approach leads to reduced NT‐proBNP levels, hospitalizations, mortality, and adverse events, highlighting its effectiveness as a potential tool for optimizing AHF treatment and monitoring .

ABSTRACT A paradoxical rise in pulmonary artery pressure on follow‐up echocardiography after successful mavacamten therapy for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) prompted right heart catheterization, which demonstrated combined pre‐ and post‐capillary pulmonary hypertension and guided the decision to continue mavacamten while withholding ...

ABSTRACT Daily remote monitoring of pediatric cardiac implantable electronic devices is clinically valuable, but its reproducibility depends on more than arrhythmia detection. Future reports should include alert burden, false‐positive rates, alert‐to‐review intervals, family‐contact timelines, and escalation pathways to clarify whether remote ...

Implanted atrial pacemakers for paroxysmal atrial flutter. Long-term efficacy
Five patients with drug-resistant paroxysmal atrial flutter received permanent burst atrial pacemakers for the treatment of tachycardia. All patients had extensive electrophysiologic evaluations to determine the safety and efficacy of atrial pacing.

Carfilzomib is highly effective in the treatment of multiple myeloma, but it has been associated with cardiovascular adverse events that impact patient outcomes. Our prior global metabolomic analyses indicated an association between hydrophilic bile acids and carfilzomib‐cardiotoxicity risk, although a causal relationship remained to be determined ...

Atrial tachycardia masquerading as atrial flutter following ablation of the subeustachian isthmus.
We report a case of atrial tachycardia masquerading as atrial flutter in a man who had previously undergone catheter ablation for atrial flutter. The recurrent arrhythmia was electrocardiographically almost identical to the prior atrial flutter; at ...

Evaluation and Management of Recurrent Atrial Flutter in Neonates
Background: Fetal tachyarrhythmias occur in less than 0.1% pregnancies, with atrial flutter accounting for one-third of cases. Atrial flutter results from a reentrant circuit within the atrium with atrial rates in fetal atrial flutter ranging from 300 to

ABSTRACT Introduction Light chain (AL) amyloidosis and transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR‐CM) are the most common types of cardiac amyloidosis. Despite similar manifestations, prognosis and treatments are distinct, emphasizing the importance of accurate and timely diagnosis. This retrospective cohort study assessed real‐world diagnostic workups
