Stakeholder Relationships in the Circular Economy. Conceptualizing Relational Approaches Through Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Circular economy (CE) demands a stakeholder perspective. However, CE literature investigating the nature and the evolution of stakeholder relationships for its effective implementation is not made explicit nor comprehensively conceptualized, resulting in a lack of appreciation for stakeholders' role and a poor understanding of how their ...

The Role of Patents in Circular Innovation: The Case of Sustainable and Recyclable Materials in the Textile Industry

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines whether and how patenting advances circular innovation and therefore contributes to the sociotechnical transition toward a circular economy. Using the multilevel perspective (MLP) as a theoretical framework, we conducted a case study set in the empirical context of man‐made cellulosic fibers. These heavily patented fibers

The Boundary‐Like Defect Type Vertical Graphene Enhances the Stability of Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
Compared with the vacancy‐like type VG, the bounded‐like type VG coated copper foam electrode demonstrates uniformly high‐density defects. This characteristic not only offers abundant nucleation sites but also provides sufficient growth space for lithium, effectively inhibiting the formation of lithium dendrites and enhancing the stability of lithium ...

Optimized Carbonization of Biomass‐Derived Carbon Anodes for Stable and Long‐Cycle Sodium‐Ion Battery Performance

open access: yesChemElectroChem, EarlyView.
This study presents the synthesis of biomass‐derived carbon‐metal organic framework (C‐MOF) using modified sawdust as a sustainable precursor and elucidates its electrochemical performance for anode material of sodium‐ion batteries. C‐MOF showed enhanced rate capability, durability, and effective sodium‐ion kinetics.
