This paper presents a modified Flyback converter able to operate with higher efficiency and smaller size, overcoming most of the conventional flyback converter drawbacks, and also keeping its low cost and simplicity. In particular, the proposed converter allows the mosfet off voltage to be reduced and clamped to the input, thus recovering the ...

Performance evaluation of flyback converter
Proceedings Electrical Insulation Conference and Electrical Manufacturing Expo, 2005., 2006Steady-state (DC) analysis of the flyback PWM DC-to-DC converter is performed for continuous conduction mode (CCM). The equations for the device stresses and the component values are derived. The circuit is designed and simulated with the aid of P-SPICE.

In this paper, a new sepic-flyback converter has been proposed, which is suitable for buck-boost topology. The proposed converter is superposition of sepic converter mode and flyback converter mode. Not only sepic mode output but also flyback mode output can be fully regulated by constant frequency PWM control.

Flyback converter with hybrid clamp
2018 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2018This paper presents a flyback converter with a hybrid clamp, i.e., a combined passive RCD and active clamp, and a corresponding power management circuit that substantially optimizes the performance of the flyback converter in the entire line and load ranges.

The paper discusses a new power converter circuit, the symmetrical resonant flyback power converter. Its fundamental mathematical analysis is presented, together with simulation results. The switches in the power converter operate with ZCS (zero current switching) at turn-on and with ZVS (zero voltage switching) at turn-off.

A DC-DC converter with stacked flyback converters
2013 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition, 2013This paper proposes a new two-switch flyback converter that allows its switches to operate with less peak voltage stress than other flyback converters and with double their power transfer frequency. Moreover, the converter can operate with zero-voltage switching (ZVS) using just one auxiliary switch.

Analysis of bidirectional flyback converter
2015 International Conference on Computation of Power, Energy, Information and Communication (ICCPEIC), 2015Power converters have great importance in this technically advanced world because many electronic devices use controlled source. Thus new converting topologies are developing to get better operation in terms of efficiency. This paper deals with a bridgeless flyback converter topology which have bidirectional power flow capability.

Asymmetrical PWM flyback converter
2000 IEEE 31st Annual Power Electronics Specialists Conference. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37018), 2002The asymmetrical PWM converter with the flyback output rectifier (asymmetrical PWM flyback converter) is proposed in this paper. The asymmetrical PWM flyback converter has the feature of zero-voltage switching (ZVS) in the active switches using resonance of the parasitic components.

A ZCS bidirectional flyback converter
2004 IEEE 35th Annual Power Electronics Specialists Conference (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37551), 2004This paper addresses the design and analysis of a zero-current-switched (ZCS) bi-directional flyback dc/dc converter. The converter is based on extending a previously developed unidirectional ZCS flyback converter and replacing the output diode with a controlled switch, which acts as either a rectifier or a power control switch in the corresponding ...

DC-DC converters can be viewed as dc transformers that deliver a DC-DC voltage or current at a different level than the input source. The unregulated DC voltage is converted into regulated DC voltage at required level under varying load and input voltage condition.
