FMCW system aspects for multipath environments
2011 8th Workshop on Positioning, Navigation and Communication, 2011Local positioning systems (LPS) are not only of increasing interest for industrial and commercial applications, but are also required for crisis management to keep track of first responders at all times, both for security and for logistic reasons. In such systems, frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar is widely used.

Implementation of FMCW radar for training applications
2017 4th International Conference on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ICEEE), 2017In this study, a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar has been implemented. The FMCW is obtained by modulating CW signal. The triangular wave signal has been selected as modulation signal and a modulator circuit has been performed. The FMCW radar system provides the target velocity and range information in sufficient resolution within a 100-

Orthogonal waveforms for FMCW MIMO radar
2011 IEEE RadarCon (RADAR), 2011Multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) radar system performance benefits from the capability to simultaneously transmit and receive multiple orthogonal waveforms. For pulse radars fitting orthogonal waveforms have been developed. These waveforms are however not necessarily suitable for frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar.

An FMCW Ranging Method with Identification Ability
2019 IEEE International Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS), 2019Frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar has been widely used and thoroughly studied in high precision ranging. However, FMCW radar cannot identify target type while ranging. To address this problem, this paper presents a high-precision ranging method based on FMCW, which enables the FMCW radar to identify target type while ranging.

TIA Design for FMCW LiDAR Systems
International Journal of Circuit Theory and ApplicationsABSTRACTThis paper presents a design methodology for a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) that emphasizes enhanced power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), specifically tailored for long‐distance frequency‐modulated continuous‐wave (FMCW) LiDAR systems. In these advanced systems, when critical components such as the transmitter, receiver, and optical phase ...
