Veterinary Dermatology, 2001AbstractA case of adverse post‐vaccination allergic reactions, which occurred in a dairy cattle herd 8 days after the annual foot‐and‐mouth disease (FMD) vaccination, is described. The dermatologic lesions observed in these cattle included: urticaria, exudative and necrotic dermatitis, along with oedema and vesicles on the teats.

FMD in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Veterinary Record, 2006SIR, – Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreaks due to serotype O virus were recorded in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, during January to March 2005. This is significant because FMD has previously been recorded in these islands only during 1985 and 1989.
