Epilepsia, 1966SUMMARYStudies were made on neurons of the motor cortex of cats before and after topically applied strychnine evoked focal paroxysmal discharges. No obvious changes were found in “epileptic” neurons in resting conditions, especially in their membrane resting potentials and input resistance.
