FOLIAR SPRAY BANDING CHARACTERISTICS
Transactions of the ASAE, 2004Foliar spray banding was explored as a means of reducing pesticide use compared to broadcast applications. Various geometric spray patterns and delivery angles of foliar spray bands were investigated to increase spray deposits in a crop row at a constant spray rate of 94 L/ha.

Concepts and applications of foliar spray for microbial inoculants
Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2018Damages of the (agro)ecosystem by extensive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, the global dying of bee populations possibly linked to pesticide spraying, and stricter regulations for pesticide use together with successful use of microbials in IPM programs are pushing on the development and commercialization of new microbial products and a ...

Foliar Spray Efficacy Trials, 1981
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1982Abstract One hundred and twenty-four soybean plots (Var. Elf) were located 1 mile northwest of Ames, IA. Each plot measured 50 ft x 10 ft (4 rows) with 30 inch centers. Experimental design was a randomized complete block with 4 replications and 31 treatments (Table 1).

Foliar Sprays for Control on Potatoes, 1988:
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1989Abstract Potatoes were planted on 17 Mar at the Eastern Shore Agricultural Experiment Station, Painter, Va. Each plot consisted of a single 25-ft-long row bordered on one side by 2 untreated rows and on the other side by bare ground. Potatoes were planted with 10-inch plant spacing and 36-inch row spacing.

Response of bean to foliar spray of titanium
Plant and Soil, 1983To compare the effectiveness of two sources of Ti:-dicyclopentadienyl titanium chloride (organic Ti) and titanium chloride (inorganic Ti) a pot experiment was conducted with bean at 0.25, 0.5 and 1 ppm levels of water-soluble Ti applied as foliar spray.

Foliar Sprays for Control on Potato, 1988:
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1989Abstract Certified B-size potatoes were planted 20 May at the University of Minnestoa Experimental Station, Kosemount. Experimental plots were 8 rows wide and 50 ft long with 40-inch row spacing. Treatments were randomized in complete blocks with 5 replications.

Foliar Sprays to Control Leafminers, 1978
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1980Abstract The residual effect of Knoxout 2FM (encapsulated diazinon) in controlling leafminer larvae was evaluated in a timed study. Treatments were replicated three times. Forty pair of uninfested 8 in. bean plants, greenhouse grown in 4 - in. plastic pots, were reduced by hand trimming to 2 leaves per plant (160 leaves).

Nanobrass CuZn Nanoparticles as Foliar Spray Nonphytotoxic Fungicides
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2018Inorganic nanoparticles (NPs) have been proposed as alternative fertilizers to suppress plant disease and increase crop yield. However, phytotoxicity of NPs remains a key factor for their massive employment in agricultural applications. In order to investigate new effective, nonphytotoxic, and inexpensive fungicides, in the present study CuZn ...
